About me

H e l l o  d o g  p e o p l e !

If you didn’t already know, I’m Alexe :)

I am passionate about dogs and everything that surrounds them.

As far as I can remember, I have always LOVED these extraordinary little things that are dogs. They have, each in their own way, a gift to make us feel not only surrounded, respected but loved unconditionally.

My academic background in psychology has enabled me to learn more about humans, to develop an even deeper empathy towards all of you and the most instructive for me; to better understand myself as an individual.

That’s how I quickly learned that this was not the domain of my destiny and that my help would definitely be more useful elsewhere.

My very first dog Stitch taught me so much.

All my knowledge so far is dedicated to him and future ones will consist of a mixture of those that Stitch & Boo bring me as well as those of each dog I will have the chance to cross on my way.

Being entirely self-taught, I have this immense opportunity to learn on the perilous road of experience. My empathy for all dog owners is all the greater because just four years ago, I was nowhere near the owner and coach I am today.

Every mistake you can imagine, I’ve probably made.

I 100% believe that everyone has the ability to be the best parents for their respective dogs.

All you need is you!

Stitch is a 4-year-old  Blue Merle Australian Shepherd mix with Border Collie.

Knowing him since his very first weeks of life, I can say that he is very sensitive and has an impressive emotional intelligence.

He knows immediately when someone is sad and never wants anyone to feel left out, regardless of whether they are humans or dogs.

He is ALWAYS in a good mood and his joie de vivre is more than contagious.

Impossible to have a bad day for long with him in our life!

That’s definitely the dog everyone would want.

He is a dog able to take as much as he is given (and wants even more), as much as he is a dog who likes to spend whole days doing nothing special, as long as he is surrounded by the people he loves.

He’s the best big brother I could have hoped for Boo.

I am forever indebted to him for everything he has brought to me in life, and above all, for the human he has brought me to become after all these years spent by his side.

I promised myself that I would give him even a fraction of what he has given me by showing him every day how lucky I am to have him in my life.

B o o

Boo is a 3 years old red merle border collie.

She is a dog full of energy and definitely full of life too.

Nothing in the world will ever stop her from achieving her goals and what she cares about.

Independent at first, it is not difficult to win her heart if we show ourselves worthy of her trust

It is true that I only had her as an adult, but that does not change our connection.

She’s definitely not the dog for everyone, but she challenged me the hard way and that was exactly what I needed.

It allowed me to evolve to the best of my abilities, both as a coach and as a person.

I recognize myself immensely in her personality and her way of seeing and living things, that’s why we were definitely made for each other.

It is by uniting us while recognizing our differences as well as by focusing more on what brings us together, that our inseparable trio finally came into being.

We specialize more specifically in what is here, commonly known as canine freestyle and we have set ourselves the mission of growing this discipline, which is still too little known, and which would benefit from it, here in Quebec.

We pass on the important message that the final achievement is only a small part of the whole and that the most important part remains the one that encompasses all the hard work that has been done to achieve it.

We had the immense opportunity to give Canine Freestyle workshops across the province to extraordinary human-dog duos who made a big impact on our journey.

We also had the opportunity to perform several performances that were sure to impress many.

We also appeared in the famous TV shows Animania on TVA & Dans l'Oeil du Dragon on Radio Canada (add links here) which allowed us to get to know each other better!

We offer an educational pension service that allows us to help even more owners and their dogs to overcome their difficulties and thus make their daily life more enjoyable.

In addition, we have just launched our online training platform, specializing in canine sports, a first in Quebec for such a platform.

Finally, we are lucky to be able to share our «exceptionally ordinary» daily life with more than thousands of enthusiasts via our Facebook & Instagram pages.

« Ohana means family and family means no one let’s get left behind or forgotten »
